Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all services and offers of the Cardynex platform, in compliance with Iranian E-Commerce Law and applicable regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Service Description

Cardynex offers digital services particularly in the following areas:

  • Digital Business Cards
  • Online Appointment Booking Systems
  • Digital Restaurant Menus
  • Customer Management
  • Portfolio and Product Presentation
  • Media and File Upload
  • Rating and Review Systems

The specific scope of services results from the respective booked tariff.

Contract Conclusion

The contract is concluded by registration, use of the platform, or conclusion of a paid subscription.

Registration requires providing accurate information, including a valid Iranian phone number or email address.

By using Cardynex, the user accepts all Terms and Conditions.

Prices and Payment Conditions

Pricing

  • The use of certain functions may be subject to charges.
  • All prices are published on the platform in Iranian Rial (IRR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payment

  • Payments are processed via authorized Iranian payment service providers (PSPs) and the Shetab banking network.
  • In case of payment default, access to the platform may be restricted or blocked.

Duration and Termination

  • Subscriptions are automatically renewed for the selected term unless canceled in due time.
  • Cancellation can be made via the user account or in writing (including email).
  • Users in Iran may also request cancellation through our Persian language support channels.

User Obligations

Users particularly commit to:

  • Not uploading any illegal content or content violating Iranian laws
  • Not violating third-party copyrights or intellectual property
  • Not distributing malware or harmful code
  • Not publishing offensive, discriminatory, or culturally inappropriate content
  • Not manipulating the platform or attempting unauthorized access
  • Complying with Iranian Cyber Crime Law and Islamic Republic regulations

User Content and Reviews

Users are solely responsible for published content, reviews, and comments in both Persian and English.

Content must comply with Iranian cultural norms and legal requirements.

Cardynex assumes no liability for user-generated content but reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable Iranian laws.

Platform Availability

Cardynex strives for the most uninterrupted availability of the platform possible, with optimized connectivity for users in Iran.

However, permanent availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance work, security updates, technical disruptions, or internet connectivity issues within Iran can lead to temporary restrictions.

Liability

Cardynex is only liable for intent or gross negligence, in accordance with applicable Iranian civil law.

As far as legally permissible under Iranian law, liability for indirect damages, data loss, or lost profits is excluded.

Platform Security and Fraud Prevention

Cardynex collects technical data to protect the platform and all users from abuse.

To prevent misuse of free trials, refund fraud, multi-account abuse, and other fraudulent activities, Cardynex collects and processes the following technical data:

Technical Identifiers

  • IP address (anonymized after 90 days)
  • Browser and device fingerprint
  • Device identifier and user agent
  • Session identifiers

Fraud Detection Signals

  • Hashed email and phone identifiers
  • Hashed payment card identifiers
  • Abuse patterns (multiple trials, repeated refunds, etc.)
  • Access behavior indicators

Purpose of Processing

This data is processed exclusively for:

  • Protecting the platform against abuse and fraud
  • Protecting the rights and interests of all users
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of the platform
  • Compliance with Iranian legal obligations (e.g. tax, E-Commerce Law, Cyber Crime Law)
Technical identifiers are stored in hashed or anonymized form where technically possible. Personal data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Iranian Regulatory Compliance: This data processing is conducted in accordance with the Iranian E-Commerce Law, the Cyber Crime Law, and the directives of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace. Where required by Iranian authorities for lawful security investigations, data may be disclosed in accordance with applicable legal procedures.

By using the platform, the user explicitly agrees to this processing of technical data for security and fraud prevention purposes. This consent is a prerequisite for using Cardynex services.

Data Protection

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with Cardynex's Privacy Policy and applicable Iranian data protection regulations.

Changes to Services

Cardynex reserves the right to further develop or adapt functions, prices, or content of the platform.

Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification. For Iranian users, notifications will be provided in Persian when applicable.

Final Provisions

  • The law of the Islamic Republic of Iran applies to all legal relationships between the user and Cardynex.
  • Place of jurisdiction is — as far as legally permissible — the competent courts of Iran.
  • Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
  • In case of disputes, the Persian version of these terms shall prevail for Iranian users.
